The Cure Sickle Cell Foundation’s will have its Valentine’s Wine Tasting at 6:30 p.m. Feb, 14, on the second floor of the foundation’s headquarters, 234 E. Capitol Street, in Jackson.
VIP happy hour starts at 5:30 p.m. featuring saxophonist Thomas Rogers. Tickets are $25. VIP tickets are $40. Tickets can be purchased online.
Attendees can taste great wines from Glazer’s Broker of Fine Spirits, sample cheeses that pair well, listen to the soulful sounds of Laurie Walker and enjoy the artistic abilities of Tony Davenport as he offers a live painting. A silent auction will also feature never-before-seen masterpieces from Tony Davenport.
The Valentine’s Wine Tasting is not just for couples. A date is not required. This is a signature event for those who desire to support CSCF, learn about the world of wine and groove to soulful sounds. The dress attire is cocktail festive. To attend CSCF’s Wine Tasting simply wear after-5 attire.
