BAY ST. LOUIS, Miss. (AP) – Authorities say two women died in a two-vehicle crash near Bay St. Louis.
Hancock County Chief Deputy Don Bass tells the Sun Herald the women, both in their 20s, were traveling in a car that crossing the centerline Sunday evening and crashed into a pickup truck.
Bass says responders had to use the jaws of life to get the women out of the car.
Hancock County Coroner Jim Faulk identified the women as Lauren Bailey and Aja Crawford.
The driver of the truck did not sustain any serious injuries.
Bass says the accident is still under investigation.
