Mississippi woman accused of stabbing man in the head with barbecue fork

13420408-smallBROOKHAVEN, Miss. (AP) — A south Mississippi woman has been indicted after authorities say she assaulted a man with a barbecue fork.

The Daily Leader reports that 31-year-old Tuwanika Faya Cleve of Monticello was served with the aggravated assault indictment Sept. 25. She is out on bond, and it was not immediately clear whether she has an attorney.

The indictment says Cleve caused bodily injury to Jatavis Berry when she punctured his scalp with a deadly weapon — a barbecue fork. The indictment says Cleve threw the cooking utensil into an area occupied by several people, including Berry.
