BAY ST. LOUIS, Miss. (AP) — The Waveland Municipal Court clerk has been arrested on charges of DUI, leaving the scene of an accident and running a stop sign.
Sheriff Ricky Adam tells The Sun Herald 43-year-old Rhonda Cummings was booked into the Hancock County jail late Saturday night.
Adam said the charges are misdemeanors since the accident did not result in any injuries.
It’s unclear where the wreck occurred.
Cummings was released about three hours later on a $1,500 bond issued by Justice Court Judge James Lagasse.
It’s unknown whether Cummings has an attorney.
