Officer’s body escorted from Jackson to McComb funeral home by police officers from across the state

A special memorial service will be held in McComb for a slain HPD police officer on Thursday, May 14th.
The Pike County Memorial Service for Hattiesburg Police Officer Liquori “CoCo” Tate will be held at 6pm on Thursday, May 14th at the Community of Believers Cultural Fellowship (COBCF), 507 Apache Dr, McComb Mississippi.
Pastor Gregory Partman was Tate’s pastor and Walker’s Chapel FWB Church was the church where he served as an usher, a choir member and even played the drums for the male chorus. Area police departments, cities of Magnolia, McComb, Summit and more, and members of the community where he once lived, worked, studied and graduated from high school and college, where he worshiped God, where he played and had fun, will attend.
The program will include a public viewing of Tate.
After the Thursday memorial, a visitation for Tate will be held in Hattiesburg from 5pm-8pm on Friday evening, his funeral service at 11am on Saturday morning, both at West Point Baptist Church in Hattiesburg, and his burial and repast in Starkville (his place of birth) following the funeral.
On Monday, Tate’s body was escorted by state and city police officers and officials from a Jackson location where his autopsy had been conducted, to the McComb funeral home, Craft Funeral Home for final preparations for his viewing, funeral and burial.
