Hinds CC Utica Campus to host Senior Day

2_hcc_logoUTICA –The Hinds Community College Utica Campus Office of Student Services will host Senior Day 2014 on Friday, Dec.  5 beginning at 9:30 a.m. in J.D. Boyd Gym. All high school seniors and parents, who are interested in learning more about attending the Utica Campus, are encouraged to attend.
The event will include presentations from several academic departments on campus and performances from the choir and dance team. Students will also have the opportunity to tour campus facilities, speak individually with counselors and admissions staff, and take an in-depth look at the 13 career and technical programs offered.
 “We are looking forward to 200-300 students to attend this event,” said Utica Campus Recruiter Chelia Thompson. “This great fun-filled event will expose students to the campus and give them the opportunity to learn more about the campus and we have to offer.”
This is a free event and is open to all middle school and high school students and their families.
