HATTIESBURG, Mississippi (AP) — Two Sumatran tigers have gone on display at the Hattiesburg Zoo.

WDAM-TV reported the male siblings were born at the Los Angeles Zoo.

They are named Cinta and Kuasa.

“Cinta means love, and Kuasa means power,” said Rick Taylor, executive director of the Hattiesburg Convention Commission.

The tigers each weigh more than 200 pounds but are much smaller than the zoo’s current resident Siberian tiger, Tigger.

The three tigers will rotate through the exhibit offering guests the opportunity to see differences between the largest of the species, the Siberian tiger, and one of the smallest species, the Sumatran tiger.

The zoo attempts to add a new attraction each year. To get the Sumatran tigers, it had to pass an inspection by Los Angeles Zoo authorities.

Taylor said a representative of the Los Angeles Zoo’s species survival program inspected the exhibit and qualified the Hattiesburg Zoo to receive the tigers.
