MERIDIAN, Miss. (AP) — Authorities in Meridian say two suspects have been booked with shooting at a garbage truck.
WTOK-TV in Meridian reports the incident happened Oct. 31 on 57th Avenue. A Waste Pro garbage worker was injured by flying glass but was not hit by the shots, police say.
Meridian police identified the suspects as 30-year old Jacarrus Antyone Picket and 31-year old Willie Carl Pickett. They were booked with attempted murder.
It was not immediately clear whether either suspect has an attorney.
