Fans were hoping for a reunion of one of televisions all time "Super Couples", Pam (Victoria Principal) and Bobby (Patrick Duffy) Ewing from Dallas. Co-star Ken Kercheval, who plays Pam's brother, Cliff Barnes, said a uniting of the couple for the new TNT series seems unlikely.

LOS ANGELES, Ca. – Even though J.R. Ewing is back on top thanks to the return of the wildly popular 1970s and 80s hit show, Dallas, one of the co-stars, Ken Kercheval says he doesn’t believe Victoria Prinicpal will be making an appearance in the new TNT reboot of the top-rated show.

Fans of the drama hoped for a full reunion of the surviving original cast when it relaunched the series in June after 21 years off air, but they were left disappointed when Principal avoided re-joining the cast.

Patrick Duffy, who plays Bobby Ewing, sparked speculation producers were lining up Principal’s character for a return by revealing there is an “option” for her to come back but Kercheval, who plays Cliff Barnes in the show, believes it won’t happen.

Kercheval tells fan website UltimateDallas.com, “Victoria has kind of divested herself with (sic) any kind of association with the show. She has done her own thing with her make-up company and so on.”

“I’m sure they have approached her to be involved. I think she was involved in the first Dallas reunion kind of show (2004 documentary Return to Southfork) but since then, no. She has kind of disappeared off the Dallas face.”
