FULTON – A 31-year-old woman from Smithville is facing charges of kidnapping and statutory rape in Mississippi as well as sexual battery charges in Texas, after authorities said she allegedly had physical encounters with two teenage boys.
Kristen Marie Hall, of the 2000 block of Duncan Lake Road, was released on a $75,000 bond after Ittawamba County Sheriff Chris Dickinson said she reportedly took one of the teens to Texas.
Dickinson said authorities had been investigating Hall for over a month and that investigation led to her arrest in Denton, Texas on March 24 by U.S. Marshals.
Dickinson said the two teens Hall allegedly had a sexual relationship with in Mississippi were both from Ittawamba County.
When Hall took one of the boys and fled to Denton, Texas, authorities said she had a sexual encounter with him there and she was arrested and charged with two counts of sexual battery.
Her bond was set at $30,000.
Hall was returned to Mississippi in April where she was charged with two counts of statutory rape and kidnapping. She appeared in Ittawamba County Justice Court where her bond was set at $75,000.
Dickinson said Hall’s case will come before the next session of the grand jury.
